The Guardian Kennel breeds West German showline GSD's and solid black GSD's. We have added some of the best GSD bloodlines from overseas. Our West German dogs have some of the most recent World Seiger winners in their pedigrees, 2 VA 1 Shumann Von Tronje, 2X VA1 Remo vom Fichtenschlag, and the ever legendary VA1 Zamp vom Thermodos). These 3 are just some of the biggest names of the German shepherd world and just recently we have added some new bloodlines from Funken Spiel kennels in Croatia.
About Us
Our puppies and adult dogs receive appropriate vet care through Eastside Animal Hospital. Our puppies are born in a Durawhelp whelping box in our office thats in our home. Our puppies are then moved to our puppy palace that gives them ample space to safely grow, as well as a fenced-in front yard for our own dogs to safely play and exercise.

My daughter, Ashley (Leelee), has been raised around our puppies her entire 12 years of life. She loves our puppies! The older she gets the more she wants to help. She helps during feeding times, she tries to help with cleanings the kennels with Naomi on the weekends, and she helps with the potty breaks. She just wants to help out however she can. You will fall in love with her when you meet her! And she just might take over the kennel one day when I am ready to retire.

I, Joseph Garcia, am the owner and breeder at The Guardian Kennel. Since I was a young boy I've had a passion and love for dogs. I started at the young age of 15 breeding German shepherds and throughout the rest of my life, I've bred Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, and English Mastiffs - all together I have approximately 28 years experience in dog breeding.
The German Shepherd Dog is one of America's most popular dog breeds — for good reason. They are intelligent and capable working dogs. Their devotion and courage are unmatched. Please allow me to tell you the story on why I love the German Shepherd breed so much. 40 years ago, we owned our very first German Shepherd, King. King upheld the German Shepherd standards to the fullest. He was my family's guardian protector. We grew up in south Waco in the early 80's and as kids, we could play in our front yard with no worries as long as King was around. One day my sister (two years old at the time) was sitting in the middle of the sidewalk and an high school kid walking home from school bent down to pat her on the head. He meant no harm, but King shot out like a cannon as soon as he saw that kid's hand inch toward my sister's head. He ran him off our property so fast, if you blinked you would have missed the whole scene! That particular incident left a lasting impression on me as a 7 year old little boy.

Meet the Kennel Manager
This is Elisa, our oldest daughter. She has been raised with our Guardians from the moment we started our kennel. She was 6 years old and needless to say, she knows and truly understands what it takes to not only care but raise a successful litter of puppies. She was always my right hand when it came to cleaning, socializing, and even training our puppies. She has a kind, loving heart that goes into each and every puppy. She will be the one you will meet when you schedule an appointment and pick up your new Guardian puppy.
